About The Event
CAMBRIDGE B2 FIRST: SPEAKING
👥 ATTENDANCE: All Teachers (Mandatory).
⏳ DURATION: Varies by headcount (See below).
📋 THE "FISHBOWL" SETUP
Ms. Ha's Role: Provides printed score sheets and test packs at 09:00 AM.
The Stage: Center table for Examiners/Candidates.
The Audience: All others sit around to mark the speakers.
⚠️ STARTUP PROTOCOL (09:00 - 09:10)
Since there is no fixed facilitator, the first 2 teachers to arrive must organize the room (move tables).
Count the Vietnamese Teachers present at 09:10 AM to decide the schedule below.
⚠️ EXAMINER PROTOCOL
If Mr. David/Ms. Bing are present: They act as Examiners for all rounds.
If NO Foreign Teachers:
One teacher from the next pair must sit in the Examiner chair to ask the questions for the current pair.
Rotate this role every round.
🔢 DYNAMIC SCHEDULE (Choose your scenario)
SCENARIO A: 6 Teachers (3 Pairs)
Total Time: ~90 Minutes.
Round 1 (09:15): Pair A speaks.
Round 2 (09:35): Pair B speaks.
Round 3 (09:55): Pair C speaks.
Discussion & End: 10:15 – 10:30.
SCENARIO B: 5 Teachers (1 Pair + 1 Trio)
Total Time: ~75 Minutes.
Round 1 (09:15): Pair A (2 people) speaks.
Round 2 (09:35): Trio B (3 people) speaks. (Note: Trios take 20 mins).
Discussion & End: 10:00 – 10:15
SCENARIO C: 4 Teachers (2 Pairs)
Total Time: ~60 Minutes.
Round 1 (09:15): Pair A speaks.
Round 2 (09:35): Pair B speaks.
Discussion & End: 09:55 – 10:10
SCENARIO D: 3 Teachers (1 Trio)
Total Time: ~50 Minutes.
Round 1 (09:15): All 3 teachers take the test together (Trio format).
Discussion & End: 09:40 – 09:50
