PLANNING LESSONS: WEEK 4
👥 ATTENDANCE: Mandatory for all teachers.
📍 FOCUS: Strict time management and backup plans.

Article: The basics of lesson planning (See "Flexibility" section).
📋 THE WORKSHOP PLAN (90 Minutes)
1. INPUT: PROBLEMS (0-30 mins)
Read: The "Flexibility – expect the unexpected" section of the article.
Discuss: What happens if the technology breaks? What happens if the kids are too slow?
2. WORKSHOP: THE TIME BUDGET (30-80 mins)
The rule: The video recording must start at minute 60. No exceptions.
Scenario: You are at minute 50. The students haven't finished the book page. What do you cut?
Decision: Create a "Cut list" . (eg Cut the game, cut the writing exercise. Keep the speaking prep).
Roleplay: Facilitator acts as "The clock". Teachers must plan a lesson where they aggressively cut activities to save the video time.

1. IN-MEETING VIDEO
Task: Record the group explaining their "Cut list" strategy.
Post to: JYS Teacher Training group.
Deadline: Before leaving the meeting room (10:30 AM).
2. HOMEWORK (FINAL CERTIFICATE TASK)
Task: Complete the "Final reflection" page in your Planning lessons workbook.
Photo: Take a clear photo of the completed page (make sure text is readable).
Post to: Send directly to Mr. Stass via private Zalo message (or group).
Deadline: Before the next meeting cycle begins (April 15th).
🎓 CERTIFICATE CHECK: If you have participated in all 4 meetings and submitted this final reflection, you will receive the JYS Pedagogical certificate .
